  1. Dear Sir Anders Gustav Nelsson,
My respect to you..I heard a lot about you when I was in Hong Kong 1980’s but time goes by everything start to fade as we get older..
Two nights ago Tony Arevalo Jr. and me were chatting the Old Timer Musicians in HK on Facebook, then a few minutes later Rudy Balbuena posted a condolence message to the ones passed away.. Until the next day he posted again to say Hello and he mentioned your name, He said “the other night i played for Anders Nelson Show at Grappas”.. Straight a way it comes to my mind that you are one of Hong Kong’s Musician Old Timers…
And for the sake of all old timer musicians in Hong Kong I would like to ask permission from you…
Hope you don’t mind if we post one of your pic and a bit of info of yours to Hong Kong Musician Veterans International (Facebook) …
I’ll be awaiting for your reply, Thank you
    Kind Regards,
Raul Abella (ranked #4 in Latin Music Artists Charts on MP3 streams of new music from the best emerging and independent bands and musicians in the world.)

  5. Hi, I used to live in Hong Kong before my family immigrated to Boston back in 1988. I had heard of your name before but didn’t realize you are actually a Swede expatriate in Hong Kong until I come to your site by accident. BTW, I think you look like the English actor Rupert Graves, particularly the black and white headshot of you in a hat in your site!

  6. The concert of Anders Nellson and Sabrina Ng was full of surprises.

First, there was the appearance of Rowena Cortes. Anders sang the English version of the song “Dou Nga Mong” which was composed by him 31 years ago. Then, entered Rowena standing on a staircase and singing the original, Cantonese version. Anders then introduced Rowena’s boyfriend, Perry Martin, who was playing guitar for Anders. Perry and Rowena knew each other 31 years ago when they were working together on songs including “Dou Nga Mong”. They parted, and Perry found Rowena again through the internet early this year, and they become intimate friends. The screen showed an article on their love affair published recently. Next, Anders and Sabrina sang and dedicated a song “I Do, I Do” (i.e. Lesley’s Wai Lei Chung Ching) to them. Perry asked Rowena,”Will you marry me?” Rowena was excited and weeping. She was speechless and Perry announced on her behalf that she agreed. Ko Chi Sum took some flowers out and handed to Perry for giving to Rowena. They kissed each other. The audience were delighted and clapped their hands.

Second, there was an anonymous guest posing as Elvis Presley. It turned out that this guest was Anders himself with his long beard cut. The screen then showed some pictures of his beard cut backstage.

I hope to hear from you soon where I can provide you more information about the vinyl. Thank you for your kind assistance in advance.

  10. Hello Mr. Nelsson,

was just on your Homepage, clicked in the navigation list on “actor” and read your text.
I fully agree with you to name a Street, Boulevard or Place after Hongkong’s most famous son Bruce Lee based on the facts he was an excellent Chinese actor with high profile, he fought against repression and was decades ahead with his thoughts.
Hope this will happen in the future to remind any more people of this enviable human being !

    So far, all the best

    Alex
